[slash] wrestling Ah yes, the slash. I wrote two columns for this site for about a year while at CGCC, so I like to keep up with the site. Besides, even if I have for the most part quit watching wrestling, I haven't gotten out of the habit of reading CRZ's awesome recaps yet. So sue me. Alison Krauss + Union Station Awesome, awesome stuff. Amazon.com I'm an Amazon.com. There's no secret there. I absolutely love it. Ben Folds You might remember him best from the Ben Folds Five, but now he's solo. I must say he's quite awesome. BHS Rising Surf Literary Magazine No, this isn't the old site that I ran, it's the brand new one. What a fine magazine that was in the years of 1997-98 and especially 1998-99. :) Billboard If you can survive the nine million pop-up ads, get your chart info here! Brunswick High School As alumni of BHS, I must keep up with the ol' high school. Cap'n Wacky's Boatload o' Fun! Stick Figure Warning Man and lots more hilarity! CGCC Publications Nice to see the page hasn't changed a bit since I ran it. Literally. :) Charlie Robison The tall Texan married to the Dixie Chick (and has great music, too) deserves his place here. Chicksfeet.com Home of the Mellow Yellow! You can watch all the videos you want, too. Pretty nifty. CMT.com This is where I cast my daily MWL vote for "Saints & Angels," despite it never making it. I'm such a trooper. Connect Savannah The former Creative Loafing's website. That is NOT a complete sentence. cyndithomsonfans.com Do you like Cyndi Thomson? Are you a fan? Then this is for you! Deb's Poetry Page Former Rising Surf-er Deb is an awesome poet. See? Dixie Chicks BB Secret Clubhouse It's that page! The one that is NEVER updated! What a lousy webmaster. Makes me kind of... oh, I don't know... blue. Dixiechicks.com The official site. It's all about the purple here, for better or for worse. There's supposed to be a new site coming soon. Whether that's soon as in a few weeks or soon as in before I die, I'm not sure. Dixiechicksfans.com NicChick does a whale of a job here. eBay I absolutely love roaming around eBay. Entertainment Weekly's EW.com Probably my favorite of the "entertainment" magazines. They have that quick wit and snappy humor that I adore. Hire me, hire me! Fresh Hell Fresh Hell, you say? Yep. Has nothing to do with Hell, actually. Just links to entertaining stories and the famed Friday Five. Georgia Southern University Yeehaw. Glynn Chiropractics Big ups to my chiropractor. Word. GSU's Student Media Read up on the George-Anne newspaper as well as the magazines and radio station. HitBox Central This is where I get my site stats. Cool, huh? Oh yeah. Jesus of the Week Note: that site will surely offend a fair amount of you. If you're super churchy or easily offended, stay away. Landover Baptist Ditto on this one (good job, ABC order!). It's another religious humor site. |
Magic 105.9 WXMK Brunswick's local pop/rock station. Okay, the site sucks... but still a cool station. Miss Cleo's LiveJournal Who cares if it's her or not... it's funny. Rarely updated, but hilariously, insanely funny to me. And I'm easily amused, so there you go. My Yahoo! Get your personalized news, scores, stocks, and etc. right here. Nancies.org Probably the best site you'll find for Dave Matthews Band news. It's won the My VH1 Awards Best Fansite award two years running. Pop Culture Junk Mail Links to things pertaining to today's pop culture as well as some of the past. Poynter.org - Jim Romnesko's Media News If there's a headline going on within the media world, he's got it. This isn't your regular news site... it's news about news. RollingStone.com And the best of the music magazines, which I am finally a subscriber of. Thanks, whoever bought it off my Amazon wish list (nobody will confess)! Sara Evans Official Website Note to self: if you let the first page actually load all the way, no huge long wait after that. Sara Evans Unofficial Webpage MILES ahead of her official page. SavannahNOW The Savannah Morning News' official website. Great paper most of the time (even if Brunswick generally doesn't exist in their world outside of sports) and a great webpage. Sheryl Crow She's got a new album and a new look to her site. Sin-Wagon.com Come take your turn on the Sin Wagon! Solbeam.com I am always so intrigued by Sol's journeys around the world. Just a tad older than me and she's exploring. Statesboro Herald Statesboro's newspaper is online, too. Right there. Stouthouse.org See what Chris and Jake and the gang are up to and check out the latest StoutComic! Television Without Pity They do great recaps of shows from The Osbournes to Real World to ER to you name it. Especially hilarious are the recaps of the award shows. Tenacious D The greatest band in the world. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution AJC in the hizzouse! I love the AJC. Hire me, hire me! The Brunching Shuttlecocks Hi-larious. Maybe the funniest page that's not the Onion. The Brunswick News And I absolutely adore the News! I just wish there were more than two headlines per section online. Hire me, hire me! The Daily Show with Jon Stewart The most important show... ever. The Mr. T Quote of the Week I bookmarked thinking I'd use it for a future quotable on my page, but have I? Nooooo. The Official Dave Matthews Band Website Did you expect otherwise? The Onion The funniest site on the Internet. The Wired Press They wish they were the Onion. Still causes the occasional giggle. Urban Legends Resource Page Great site that helps sort out which rumors are true and which aren't. Who knew Osama liked Cheez-Its? Vicky's World Another fellow college student's pretty darn snappy site. |
