Porunga is the Dragon among the planet Namek. This Dragon actually has a since of humor compared to the Dragon on Earth. This Dragon is much beefier and lean looking compared to the original dragon look of the Dragon on Earth. This Dragon makes its first appearence when Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta gather the namekian dragon balls and finally flee Freeza and find Dende to call upon the Porunga. They call upon Porunga while Vegeta is away. Vegeta had planned on wishing for immortality, but didnt succeed. Porunga pronounced that they had 3 wishes. They used all three wisely though. As you know...since they have shown that saga more then 3 times on Cartoon network...they defeat Freeza...and all the Nameks find a new planet to live on. OH JOY!
