Dr. Briefs is Bulma father. He is a technological genious when it comes to electronics and ships. I see where Bulma gets hers. Dr. Briefs built the Capsule Corp. ship that flew Goku to Namek. Dr. Briefs rigged it where Goku can change the gravity in the ships gravitron so he can train in 100 G. He finally arrives on Namek, while Dr. Briefs is left on Earth waiting for them to come back. Vegeta takes the ship after they have all been wished back to Earth.
