People and corporations want an image
That portrays them in a positive light.
However, the image may backfire
If the image is not right.
Even those who do their best
Know their work is not always seen.
When part of a public image is tarnished
Can any of it still remain clean?
On average the public knows far less
Than those who can remain close.
Letting the public see only what one wants
May make them want to look for something gross.
Various specialists try to build public image.
Gossip reporters are involved in its destruction.
Depending on public image is unwise.
Real image is what requires contruction.
Although the real image may never be revealed,
Internal problems public image will not halt.
Confidence can be built or destroyed
Knowing who is at fault.
