To me, kindness outweighs lack of cruelty.
It is a considerably stronger force.
No matter what one has done in the past,
Kindness comes from a more powerful source.
When a former gang member starts helping others
And gets attacked by the gang he used to call his own.
People will notice and a few will make sure
He does not have to do things on his own.
Sometimes kind deeds are not recognized.
Great heroes can be seen as doing wrong.
Once the truth is discovered, honored are those few
Refusing to simply follow along.
Just two of the many reasons
For kindness to be given to all.
Doing it over and over again lets one improve
By the successes and failures one can recall.
Even if it is not returned,
Kindness is the way to go.
All events are connected together
So eventually people will know.
