PERFORMANCE
By ... Steve Lucky
Actions speak louder than words,
Words that have withstood the test of time.
Deeds tell far more about a person than what one says.
Public performance is not easy to do,
But it more than counters words said about a person
Second hand or even third or fourth hand.
Quality performance may be required at an unexpected time.
It is best to be prepared for anything.
One who performs well regualrly gains respect.
Likewise, one who does not perform well regularly loses respect.
What good is it to have a skill
Unless one can perform it when it is needed?
As with everything else, performance takes practice.
Mastering the skill of doing something on the spot
Can be added to most other skills increasing their effectiveness.
Everyone has to perform sometimes, some more than others.
Doing can back up saying or destroy it completely.
No one is immune
Including those watching the performance of another.
