The internet, a place of great hope and great disappointment,
Where dream are made and then shattered
Or lost and then found again.
Both a land of dreams and a land of nightmares,
It can be friendly or inhospitable.
A place of wicked lies and the hidden truth
Unpublished anyplace else because no one else will publish it.
Serious information and usless trivia are printed on it
For the enjoyment of others.
Game players and people hard at work
Talk to each other as if they live in the same neighborhood
Even though they are from different countries.
Like all technological devices, the internet should be treated with care.
Often success or failure on the internet
Depends on the individual, not the surrounding circumstances.
Risk is taken with every typed or spoken word.
Constant interaction with people who bring
Dreams and nightmares into reality makes risk unavoidable.
