Starting Out
STARTING OUT
By ... Steve Lucky
He was just starting out
With no idea where to go.
Full of worry and doubt,
It was difficult to show
Loyalty and virtue while others were near,
Even when he kept a clear head.
Deep inside him was an abdudance of fear.
Too many people with his job were dead.
Still he tried to maintain a smile
As if maintaining a smile was all he could do.
Determined he was to last awhile.
Better it be him than someone he knew.
No matter what events were to come.
Inactivity would be a far worse fate.
Though fear made many body parts numb,
Movement would keep him from being late.
Unless someone dared to take action
Worldwide problems would never be solved.
For anyone to recieve satisfaction
One person, at least, had to get invovled.
