Pain from old wounds can seem unbarable.
Hope returns with the passage of time.
Old problems fade as new things replace
Memories once thought to be unremovable.
Not necessarily forgotten, pain is gradually removed
As one realizes such things do not last forever.
Continued exposure to love absorbs
Both the pain one causes and the pain caused by others
Until one can learn from such memories
Without reinjuring old wounds.
Forgiveness is needed for the mistakes of others.
Humility is needed to ask for forgiveness
If the mistakes are his or her own.
Some people are not willing to forgive others.
Even those mistakes, however, fade as time goes by.
Love lasts forever and can heal any wounds.
All one must do is accept it.
