Some things people say are outrageous
Eventually turn out to be true.
Highly unusual things tend to be rejected
Which makes convincing people hard to do.
The most important historical events
Had outrageous clims turning out to be right,
Like people sailing around the world
Or actually taking flight.
People ignoring warnings of a surprise attack
Found many of their numbers killed.
It is not always easy to see
A prophecy currently being fulfilled.
Burried amoung many outrageous lies,
The outrageous truth is a hidden gem.
Easier things to believe may not be right.
Outrageous claim makers have secrets known only to them.
