Events cast shadows in all directions,
The bigger the event, the bigger the shadows.
Shadows from the past and shadows from the future
Make the present what it is today.
The past can not be changed, but the future can.
From the future, the shadows grow
As the event becomes less and less avoidable.
When the event itself appears,
It has a solid grip on the here and now
Effecting everything around it.
Over time, the event fades from memory
Leaving only shadows of what once was
Or what might have been.
These shadows fade into nothingness,
But other shadows will take their place.
All events leave shadows.
Some are warnings of what those shadows might become.
