One event leads to another
Together in a series they form a chain.
It might be difficult to explain
Until the direction of events one can discover.
An event that looks like any other
Leads to major loss or gain.
If the end result will be great pain,
The chain reaction one must smother.
Can a chain reaction be halted
Once it has begun?
Altered results may be even worse.
Before someone is faulted
For stopping events before they are done,
Remember some chain reactions lead to a curse.
