CONTROVERSY

Controversy is something I like to avoid.
It recieves too much negative attention.
When the topic is controversial
My opinion almost always leads to its extention.
Should I even dare to speak?
No sense in making an arguement last,
Yet assertive opinions need to be given
Before the time for them has passed.
Controversy is something I do not want
And also something I have to face.
Courage and tolerance need to be shown
Otherwise controversy leads to disgrace.
