            FOCUSING
       By ... Steve Lucky

Our world has vast complexities,
Hiding important tasks from view
Somewhere in a sea of meaningless data.
In order to see the whole thing through,
We should focus on the important things
And make sure they are found.
No trivial task ever brings
Us closer to solid ground.
Focusing is an important skill
Which keeps our goal in sight
As long as we are not too ill
To distinguish wrong from right.
How can one learn to stay on task
When no one else is around to ask?
