I am a part of the universe,
Some far too large for me to comprehend.
Everything I do changes the universe
In some small, seemingly insignificant way.
My small part of the universe
Has been shaped by a lifetime of activities.
Some were caused by other people,
But many others were a result of my own actions.
Be it good or bad,
I have determined what my part
Of the universe will look like.
The part of the universe where I live
Will be forever effected by the consequences of my actions.
Knowing this I should do my best
To make it a nicer place to be
Because I will always be in it.
It is connected to the rest of the universe
Making it appear more insigificant
Than a drop of water hitting the ocean,
Yet I know I can
Change the universe as a whole
Because I am a part of it.
