Although the loses were high,
Beyond our ability to compare,
There are some people on whom we can rely
Who know how important it is to share.
Tragedies may come and go,
But the same people keep appearing.
Their experience with recovery will show
From the actions and words we are constantly hearing.
A handful of people caused mass destruction
And a handful of people enabled great healing.
By helping charity groups in their construction
Their effects the entire world was feeling.
The road to recovery is led by a few.
May we never forget these people need help too.
