I made a commitment to obtain some information
For some people I know.
This task will be considerably more difficult
Than I originally thought it would be.
Even so, I promised myself I would do it
Because I understand the importance of the information.
No shortcut is satisfactory.
It will take years before it is complete,
But I will give it my best.
I have committed myself to the task.
Others have made commitments for me.
Although the task may be difficult for them,
They understand the importance of what I want.
No shortcut is satisfactory.
It will take a long time,
But they will carry it out.
They promised me they would do it.
