What do terrorists hope to gain
By filling the world with fear and pain?
One nation in prosperity
Can boost the world economy.
Whether or not the person lives,
The deed returns to the one who gives.
In their attempts to become great,
Most memories of them are now filled with hate.
Memories of those lost in the tower above
Now are mostly filled with love.
Even if our cities tumble,
Desire for freedom will not crumble.
People, buildings, and stocks may fall,
Yet something remains beind it all.
Refusing to crumble, the world's population
Will not allow terrorism in any nation.
The acts of a few make it hard on many,
Profit from such deeds is not worth a penny.
Those who risked their lives for those in need
Can unknowingly defeat a world of greed.
