All people are connected to one another
In ways we may never be able to understand.
What effects one effects every other
Person in space, air, water, or on land.
Common biological needs exist in us all,
So we know what other people need to live.
When personal tragedies we recall,
We became aware of the extreme need to give.
Tragedies will always be with us.
Good times will be with us too.
Even in the middle of times that are strenous,
Making things better is what we should do.
All people on Earth breathe the same air.
Giving has a value beyond compare.
