             DRIFTING

Going through life aimlessly drifting
Is not the way to find a good course.
When not headed towards a reliable source
Direction will be constantly shifting.
An anchor requires some heavy lifting.
On land one can learn to ride a horse,
But boats require a different force.
Finding the way takes some mental sifting.
Boats drifting well above reachable ground
Need another method for steering
Other than the ways one can try elsewhere.
Once a destination has been found
And its source appears to be nearing,
It is still recommended one takes great care.
