Evil can sometimes be victorious.
This is a fact that is not very glorious.
Justice does not always have the power
To defeat wrong doing within the hour.
Freedom for everyone comes at a price.
Limiting it to one nation just would not be nice.
Some people use alternatives to war
To prove freedom is worth fighting for.
Others risk their very lives
To make sure another's freedom survives.
Still others donate time and money
Because lack of freedom is not funny.
The gift of laughter does its part
To insure the right kind of heart.
Although evil can win on any given day,
It does not have to be that way.
The forces of good can and will take action
To become the main attraction.
Whenever freedom is at stake
Immediate action we need to take.
