Production Credits, where my name is found,
Are hidden from public view.
They do not appear on the screen at the end
And can be accessed by only a few.
Time I spent on various shows
On average was not very long.
Still denying my part, no matter how small,
Is something I know is wrong.
Guests at conventions sometimes surprise me
By actually knowing my name.
Whether or not I am recognized,
My part exists just the same.
Awards I recieved due to this unseen record,
Have not been effective as a source of proof.
To give them what I think they want
My career will have to go through the roof.
Some professionals in the industry
Do not know what Production Credits are
With obsticles like these to overcome,
How can I go very far?
One person is all it takes
To offer a helping hand.
Someone who makes an effort to look
And spreads the news across the land.
I still believe proof of my work
Can be told or even be shown.
For now I look for a better way
To make my hard work known.
