             DESTINY
        By ... Steve Lucky
 
Does my life have a destiny,
A purpose, or a plan?
Is there something I was put on Earth
To do while I still can?
As I do my daily chores
And pay my daily toll,
I wonder if it takes me
Any closer to my goal
Of achieving my true destiny
Whatever it may be.
I may not always hear the voice,
But I know it is for me
To do what I'm supposed to do
For work and play and rest.
If I want to achieve my destiny,
I must give it all my best.
