                 THE GIFT

I have recieved a gift of exceptional value,
So simple, yet containing such incredible depth.
Tremendous things have come from it
Exceeding all our reasoning and understanding.
All I have done before is meaningless
Compared to the gift that is mine to keep.
It is the grace of God,
Brought to us by Jesus Christ
Who was once both God and human being.
This gift I can never even begin to understand,
Yet it is there for me.
All I have to do is reach for it.
