In a room constantly kept cool,
Twelve computers, in two even rows, faced each other.
The computers never talked to one another.
They just silently hummed
With an occasional beep or clicking sound.
All of the computers were connected
In one way or another
Though this would not be known
To the casual observer.
The computers did not show any kind of togetherness.

Four people were seated
At four of the computers
Hardly noticing the room was constantly kept cool.
None of the people talked to each other.
They just remained silent
With an occasional grunt or movement.
All of them worked for the same company
Though this would not be known
To the casual observer.
The people did not show any kind of togetherness.
