One of the secrets of success is to never give up,
Even when the odds appear to be against you.
The obstacles may change for better or for worse,
But persistence remains a reliable constant
In both familiar situations
And situations never before encountered.
The drive to continue
Can turn defeat into victory and failure into success.
The will to keep going
Eventually wears down even the highest of mountains.
When nothing is done, nothing is normally accomplished.
It takes persistence to create a path
Where none previously existed
And it is through persistence
That most goals can be achieved.
