       FORGIVENESS

None of us are perfect.
All of us do wrong things sometimes.
If unresolved, the darkness spreads to others
Until the entire world is hidden
By a thick layer of hatred and despair.
The cycle of negativity continues
Until forgiveness can be found.
We need to forgive others
For the things that they have done
And we need to forgive ourselves
And accept forgiveness too.
Once the darkness has been removed
The light of righteousness can be seen.
Love, kindness, and joy will prosper
And evil will cease to be
If only we can learn about forgiveness.
