At times it can be hard to distinguish
Truth from deception, the genuine from the fake,
Real things from illusions, and the divine from the diabolical.
It is almost impossible to tell without the proper clues.
Problems like these are too big to ignore
And too important to just take a guess.
Time is needed to study the problem carefully,
But time can be limited.
Many people depend on split second decisions.
By the time the truth is uncovered
It may be too late for them.
Confusion is plentiful in this world where
Lies can act like the truth
And the truth can appear as a lie.
How can I ever hope to tell the difference?
