I helped with many shows, hardly making a sound.
Only in the Production Credits is my name found.
The Writing Consultant work I did behind the scenes
Must be proven by available means.
Shows like Sophie's Choice and the Elm Street series too.
In order to prove it, what should I do?
What facts do I need to show I helped with cartoons
Like The Simpsons, South Park, and Sailor Moon?
Project A-ko may be my best bet,
But the Grey Side and Blue Side still have not met.
Doug's First Movie is closer still.
Disagreement might make me ill.
With The Mummy's release I could get a loan,
But I want credit for work of my own.
Though records exist, they are hard to find.
I need a place where I can speak my mind.
Organizations to which I belong keep my hopes alive.
Now I sit back and wait for things to arrive.
Depending on others will not bring power and wealth.
If I want the credit, I must get it myself.
