Welcome to the home page of the longest regining World Heavyweight Champion in IWA History. Shadow, Dark Shadow, or what ever name he chose to take, was a force to be feared in the IWA.
Retired January 7th, 2000
Shadow first came to the Imaginary Wrestling Alliance with little fanfare, and alot of mystery around him. He soon made his mark in the IWA as fast as his second ever match, pinning Thunder to win the IWA World TV title. It was then things begin to pick up. Thunder, alongside his partner Magnum, begin a descent in to darkness after having lost the World TV title. As the months would pass Shadow would face various assoicates of Thunder's until finally the two would meet in Hell In A Cell along with two others. When all was done, it was down to just Shadow and Thunder, who managed to get the pin via a Thunderbolt to reclaim his World Heavyweight title belt. Then , Mr.Nobody, and his two goons, Suicide and Knightmare attacked both Shadow and Thunder, beating them up in the process. Shadow , long ridiculed by his crtics for being the Guardian Angel of the IWA, destroyed Magnum in a match that following Wednesday Night War and declared to the world that Shadow was no more, and that Dark Shadow would make everyone pay for their crimes against him. The next week, in a match for the #1 contendership , Shadow did likewise to Suicide, and then revealed to the world that he had aligned himself with the most feared and powerful stable ever, the Apocalypse.
Soon, the entire IWA was trembling in their boots. The Apocalypse, consisting of Ezekiel, Exdous, Zombie, Dark Shadow,Unforgiven,Corrupter, and Fenris, would soon carve out a niche in the IWA, that they are just now starting to recover from. Within a month, the Apocalypse had claimed all the belts within the IWA with Dark Shadow defeating Thunder at Panic Attack for the World Heavyweight Title. Bad Blood ( Corrupter and Fenris) claimed the World Tag team titles, Fenris the United States, and Ezekiel the World TV title ( the first ever Grand Slam Champion of the IWA) , things looked bleak for the IWA.
Yet, unknown to the IWA, Dark Shadow was plotting from within the Apocalypse. Knowing full well that there was a greater threat out there then the Apocalypse, he would have to stall his plans to destroy them, and the man who killed his family...Corrupter. To this end, he realized that he needed to unify the other wrestlers in the IWA , and perhaps motivate them to take out Mr.Nobody when he returned, for which Dark Shadow had no doubt that he would. Dark Shadow returned from Japan, as leader of the Apocalypse after Ezekiel decided to stay behind and defend his newly won IJWA World Title. Apon his return, Dark Shadow recruited Edgecrusher ( now known as Michael) into the Apocalypse. Then at Final Conflict, Dark Shadow and Thunder met in single combat, in a Iron Man match for the World Title( Thunder's rematch) and in the end, Dark Shadow scored the only pin to retain his World Heavyweight Title. Then Mr.Nobody made his return, destroying Joey Summers, the man responsible for his capture, and then declaring himself the Commissioner of the IWA.
Since Dark Shadow would not serve Mr.Nobody, he set out to break Dark Shadow, forcing him two defend his belt twice a week for nearly a month, and some times against impossible odds ( one time having to take on a entire stable ), and yet Dark Shadow did. Ironically enough, during this entire time, it was the Apocalypse, rather Dark Shadow who lead the charge against Mr.Nobody, while others sat back and talked. After time, Dark Shadow had defeated everyone that Mr.Nobody through at him, so he hired an old foe of Dark Shadow's, Mark Daemon , and booked Dark Shadow and Daemon in a Double Hell in a Cell match for The Night of Hell PPV. Dark Shadow won this match, and along with Pres. Robert, threw Nobody off the top of the steel cage, 50ft down to the floor, ending his reign of terror forever.
With Nobody
gone, Dark Shadow begin to prepare the other wrestlers in the IWA for an greater evil that was to come. He begin facing other wrestlers, testing them, trying to see if they would rise to that other level, for which he knew they must attain if they were to survive the impending force. During this time, an unexpected turn of events occurred. For weeks, Fenris and Corrupter had been at each other's throats, despite being partners. The two meet for the United States Heavyweight Title at Millennium, and after Corrupter won the match, he along with Spike and War Machine, begin to attack the injured Fenris. It was then that Dark Shadow realized , that Corrupter would be stopped, and together Fenris and Dark Shadow fought off the new Apocalypse. But not before Corrupter revealed to the world that he and Shadow, along with Ezekiel were all brothers, and that it was he who tried to kill Shadow all those years ago. Dark Shadow then challenged Corrupter to meet him that night, title for title....to settle this once and for all. The two meet in a climatic battle , NO DQ, with special referee Nuriko. In the midst of the fight, it was revealed that Shadow's family still lived and that Corrupter was being charged with several crimes, having revealed to the world that he was Justin Cane, a known hit man. In the end Shadow prevailed , and won the United States Title and reclaimed his family.That following Friday Night Demolition, alongside his family, Shadow vacated both titles, and announced his retirement to the world, not before thanking his friends, and foes alike for many memories, and warning them of an approaching force that could threaten to destroy the IWA.
Shadow currently is enjoying his retirement . His son is quickly becoming an accomplished martial artist. Rumors abound about him making a return to the wrestling world, but Shadow claims it is not to be....for now.

13th match defends World Title against Pixie.
14th match faces Thunder at Final Conflict. Successfully defends World Title in Sixty Minute Iron Man match, scoring the only pinfall.
15th match defeats Sabbath Bloody Sabbath ( a stable) to retain World Title.
16th match forced to team with Suicide vs. Illsuion and Ego. Thanks to interference on behalf of Texan Terror, loses match.
17th Loses match against Ego via DQ thanks to Suicide interfering . Retains the belt.
18th match no contest retains World Title in match against Downfire.
19th match defeats Mark Damien in Double Hell in a Cell Match to retain World Title. ( Cripples Mr.Nobody for life by throwing him off the top of the 50 ft steel cage.)
20th match defeats Purple Haze to retain World Title.
21st match defeats Texan Terror in Texas Death Match to retain World Title.
22nd Defeats Rouge to retain World Title.
23rd Defeats Corrupter in title for title match, to retain World and claim the US title.
