I chose Water for this page, as my ascending sign is Scorpio and it is a water sign. I suppose that makes me balanced as my sun sign is Fire and masculine with my rising sign being feminine and more passive.
As Fire is masculine and energetic and raw, water is feminine. Despite the fact that Aries is positive, it does not have the ability to create or form. Only a feminine, negative element can create. It takes the raw positive charge and receives and creates. That is the beauty of the feminine.
Even in life males do not have the ability to generate and create life. Only females have that ability. it is a molding and bending of energy that creates.
The feminine aspect is represented by Binah, Geburah, and Hod. This is the left hand pillar on the Tree of Life represented by the color black.
