The Tree of Life is the center of Hermetic studies and magick. It is a perfect description of mysticsm and the occult. It describes man's relationship with divinity and where we stand within that relationship.
It is perfect in balance with male and female, as no one is supreme over the other and geometrically perfect.
It shows the perfect relationship between the Qabalah and the Tarot as well. All three sources (The Tree of Life, Qabalah, and Tarot) are linked in perfect harmony.
It saddens me that so many make use of the Tarot but have no idea of where the Tarot comes from but yet they call themselves experts. Without understanding the Tree of Life and the Qabalah, one will only find limited use of such a magnificant work of art as the Tarot.
Only with a full understanding of the Qabalistic thoughts and the relationship with the Tree of Life will the true archaic and magickal mysteries become known.
