THE 2000 INTEGRA TYPE - R

On the inside, Type R is pure sport. You'll find Type R exclusive deeply bolstered seats, a large, cleanly designed instrument cluster designed for a quick read, and a thickly padded steering wheel to keep you intimately in touch with the pavement. When you're working at less than maximum effort, you'll appreciate features like powerful air conditioning, an equally potent sound system and the serial number plate that indicates your Type R is unique and one of only a handful in captivity.

The Type R engine is a hand-built, precision instrument of power. With 4-valves per cylinder, DOHC, VTEC™, hand-polished intake and exhaust ports, and a high-flow exhaust system, the 1.8-liter powerplant produces a breathtaking 195 hp. All that power comes with impressive durability. The engine has a high-rigidity, 8-counterweight crankshaft, a high-capacity oil system, high-strength connecting rods and camshafts, and a mesmerizing 8400-rpm redline. If you want to get your hands on a Type R, we suggest you do it soon. We don't make many of them. And they go fast.
