She's also a novelist with two novels soon to be published
and conducts workshops and speaks to women around the
world. She also mentors teenagers with her inspiration
and uses her home as a safe haven where teenagers come to
have fun, learn, and have someone to talk to.
Anfra is also a member of the Board of Directors for the
Black Writers Conference and Southern Film Festival
in Memphis, TN, and the CEO of F.I.G. Publising Co.
Her messages and poetry are featured on web sites all
across the Internet, and she's had articles published
with several women's magazines and newsletters. She's
also the founder of the on-line bookclub YAMS, that
promotes literary entrepreneurs and the self-published
community.
Anfra Boyd is an author, poet and inspirational speaker.

former job in Corporate America as a means to inspire
her co-workers. Since then, the column is being read
