This picture taken at Sobnob where Minnie and Joe were renting from Minnie's cousin, Daniel Webster Henderson. Notice the flowers. Grandmother Griffin had a special talent for getting things to grow. Whether from seeds or cuttings she filled her "yards" with flowers. (But she never had bouquets of flowers in the house. Was this due to her Primitive Baptist faith?)
