Shire Heraldry

Colors--red (gules), white (argent), and black (sable).

Tabard/Surcoat--per pale gules and argent, trimmed in sable, with three cat-tails gules on the argent side.

Device--field: argent with three cat-tails gules surrounded by a laurel wreath sable; chief: sable with two water bougets argent.

The cat-tails refer to the previous shires of Black Forge, Featherfall, and Twin Cities. The water bougets represent the past (1988-99) and present (2000-) lives of Rivermarch.
