Because you are my friend, my heart contains
A peacefulness I never knew before.
I do not seem to mind life's blows and pains...
They do not seem to hurt me anymore.
I do not feel as loney nor as blue,
As once I did when days seemed without end,
For now the hours are filled with thoughts of you.
And I am glad, because you are my friend!

Sometimes I cannot tell the real from dreams
Nor do I care beacuse...well, just because!

You color all the drabness in my life.
