Growing A Tree from the Branches of My Family

To understand where I'm going, I have to realize where I've been, and that includes the many who came before me. These people have become very important to me, as I hope they do to my children, and their children to come. My love of genealogy began about 8 years ago with my mother. Her parents were divorced when she was a small girl, and her father passed away not long after. She basically knew nothing of the paternal side of her family, and through her curiousity grew my labor, which has become a labor of love. My family now includes many names who are no longer just "names" to me, but people.....People who loved, labored and built lives for themselves for the short time they were here. They are long gone, but they will never be forgotten. They are My Family....
