Usagi is reading funny manga in her room, then when she laughs loudly, her mother ask her about her test. Usagi tries to argue that she shouldn't be blamed if her result is bad. At night Luna tries to remind her about their purpose to find the princess. Later at that night too, Luna go to Crown Game Center, sneak in and talk to a voice in the game. It warns that the enemy might have sent a youma to stop them.

The score of the test reveal that someone named Mizuno Ami got top score in the country. Usagi and Naru is talking about her, and when she notices that Ami is looking at them, she quickly change the topics.

In her way to home, Usagi meet Ami. Luna jump onto Ami's shoulder, and Ami is surprised thinking that the cat was an angel. Usagi introduces herself to Ami because she think that it will be useful in test to have a genius friend. Luna tries to warn Usagi because the girl may be a youma. But Usagi doesn't listen and invite Ami to the game center.

In the game center, Usagi isn't too happy and surprised because Ami beat her record score in the game. Suddenly Ami realizes that she must go to cram school and runs off. Motoki, the owner of the game centre, comes to Usagi and give her the floppy disk that was left by Ami. Later in the cram school, the teacher who is a youma is telling Ami to use the disk, but Ami then explain that she didn't want to use the disk because it makes her head hurt.

Meanwhile at the door to the cram school Usagi is reading that crystal disk can make someone become a genius. Suddenly Mamoru come and tease her ( Usagi doesn't like Mamoru at this time ). They run when Mamoru ask them if the cat is talking just a moment ago. Then Luna found out that there is a brainwashing program in the disk, they quickly go back to the school. In the class, she ask everyone to get away from the computer. The teacher come and show her true forms. Sailormoon is relieved, but Luna is confused because she sense a strange aura from Ami ( Of course, because Ami has the aura of Sailormercury which she don't know too ). Sailormoon is busy fighting the zombie student meanwhile the youma ask Ami to give her mental energy. Suddenly a mark appear in her head and Luna realize that she must be one of the missing senshi. Luna give Ami the transformation pen and tell her to use it. Then, Sailormercury use Shabon Spray to make a fog and Sailormoon finishes the youma.

Later Luna apologize to Ami because of her earlier assumption, but Ami forgives her. Usagi and Ami then become friends.
