When the ball reaches the either side, it would explode and bits can be found flying out. However, sometimes, it can return too! Just dodge them and you're all right. To hit Robotnik, just jump on the lever when it rises and jump again to whack Robotnik. After defeating Robotnik, don't rejoice yet! There's still more to come. In front, there is an egg-o-matic. Jump onto it and it would take you on a journey across the water where you would meet Knuckles and.......(I won't elaborate further) Soon, you would arrive under a rocket where you would jump off the egg-o-matic. Then, you would fight Robotnik again. As you can see, he has a spike ball revolving around its head. Be careful of that. Robotnik also has two laser cannons in which they can fire two lethal laser beams. Be careful of that too. When the spike ball is down, jump over and whack Robotnik. After a number of hits, the part where the first laser cannon is would explode leaving Robonik with one laser cannon left. Again, after a number of hits, the second laser compartment would be destroyed leaving only the main part and a spike ball revolving around the head. Destroy that and you win for Sonic!
