"First off you're probably thinking 'Where the hell is Beaverton?' Well Beaverton is located in the north east corner of Durham Region. General Direction was started sometime in October of 1998. With me being away in Toronto at school there was not much practicing for the band. While we did get in a few practices to write 6 songs. Then we played our first show at the Beaverton Town Hall. Wow was that an experience! We were ok but the show overall sucked. Now we are practicing and writting more songs in hope of travelling to far and distance places in summer. Like Burlington"-Mike
