The bobcats' breeding season usually starts in January or February. after breeding there is a gestation period of about 60 days. two to six young are born. The average is probably two or three. The kittens eyes open in about 10 days. they are weaned when they are two to three months old. They remain with their mother until they are six to eight months old. Females start breeding when they are two years old .
