I love you
But we shout
I hate you

One in tenderness
in thoughtfulness
One in anger
in bitterness

Verse 3

Had they been
but reversed
and you I
but not

 Verse 4

I LOVE YOU
SHOUTED ANGRILY
I hate you
in a whisper

Verse 5
********

Would we still
be angry
And not bitter
by thoughtful

 Verse 6

To think of
that which hurts
And not regret
that which heals?
