Emotional abuse
doesn't leave
any outside scars,
for hidden inside
another they form
and thus fester
with infection
until the whole
is seen beyond
a belief we
could ever conceive.

For years many
live in such a horror
to even within
a loving home
it would seem
from all who entered;
yet all was for show
and the death knell
had been dealt
long, long ago.
Verse 3

The unseen scars
left behind by man
today may remain
unseen to the untrained
eye or ear or feelings;
but understand
these scars
each and everyone
are noted by
a grieving Heavenly Father.
Verse 4

Forever will these
unseen scars
eternally be remembered
when standing before
the justice bar;
where all will see
the scars unseen
in this mortality.
