it is the prompting
of the still small voice.

It helps me always
to know that I am
in tune with Father
as I am supposed to be.

Whether it is right
or it is wrong to do;
so thus I've known
how to avoid the wrong.

Although I didn't always
I knew I knew
and could not deny
when I did what was wrong.

So now as I listen
even later in my life
I try to be obedient
and not have to sacrifice.

I still have troubles
when trying to lie
mostly to myself
to justify a want.

Yet with others
I simply tell the truth
and watch their reaction
to be warned from the past.

So in answer to a question
we all can know in advance
if we keep the commandments
and listen to the prompting's.
