We went to the woods to walk today
my tiger and I to play and longing to see
he wanted us to find a brand new way
so for him not I followed him by his side to be.

My tiger is weird you know he changes
first he is white, then blue, with no stripes
then all the rainbow colors he exchanges
and just to be funny he hides inside of pipes.

Now me I'm normal I want to follow the path
and my feet stay planted on the ground
at all of this you might think you want to laugh
but remember he is a tiger who plays around.

Then wouldn't you know, I guess you can't see
he gets funny and sprouts some wings to fly
I roll on the ground as he gets caught in a tree
only then he gets all sad, and begins to cry.

So I climb up the tree untangle the mess
help him down to the ground once again
but I'll tell you this is the last time I confess
yet I know this promise will just be in vain.

Thus it is me and my tiger who doesn't know
that he can't fly or change colors you see
so I let him do what he wants for show
as he walks and plays in the woods with me.
