of the spirit
nothing can be
accomplished
of eternal nature
without it.

Thus the adversary
will do everything
in his power
to beguile you
to tempt you
to deceive you
to mock you
to engulf you
so this spirit
is suffocated
and dies
within you.

Whither you wish
to have it or not
you were born
with it within;
it is an adoptive
behavior to deny
the Master's touch
or the whisperings
of the still small voice
in your prompting's
of the spirit
from the Holy Ghost.
