Verse 1

So am I
and we are
all afraid
when something
we wish for
or pray for
actually happens.

Verse 2

It is as if
we are
not worthy
while others
somehow are;
yet the pray
we prayed
was for us
and the answer
we know
is true,
so why
are we
afraid?

Verse 3

Then we hide
hoping not
to be found
so we can live
in a lie
using an excuse
to be another
instead of who
or what
we are suppose
to be just now.
|
Verse 4

Then we really
become afraid
for to lie
to ones' self
is to lie
to God.
|
Verse 5

I don't know
why we need
to know this now
but it is important
for each of us
to know
that Father answers
sincere prayer
and the lowest
of the low
is as worthy
as the highest
of the high
to receive
an answer
to a prayer.

Verse 6
********
Thus saying
then we
have no reason
to be afraid
or fear
that which
we know
to be true;
rather than
what another
has told us
it truth.
