"This is for You Grandma"

Verse 1

Dear Grandmother how can I say
the words which will tell you somehow
how much you mean to mean today
that 'I Love You' and need you now.

 Verse 2

Many use the word special out of hand
but to me that is what you are to see
I'm your biggest ever cheerleader and fan
I hope I am all you every wanted me to be.

Verse 3
********

If I could be a melted chocolate or candy
or a blanket to warm your feet at night
I would be the best at whichever was handy
at your bedside I would be a willing night-light.

 Verse 4

I'd be all the sweets you'd ever want to eat
for that is what you've been to me so long
I would be willing to be so absolutely neat
to stand for hours and sing your favorite song.

What I'm trying to say to you Grandma is
you are everything to me and I you love
thank you for all you've done to make this
life seem like the gift of Father from above.
