Thus to know why you would
risk a friendship still in blossom
while meekly I sit waiting on the wind
to take me far away from anywhere
yet you came to me when I needed
you or a friend the most and I was angry.

Yet you still loved me anyway to say
what needed to be said to keep me
and lead me to the path towards forever
when others would just give advice
you took the action to call and offer love
compassion and most, what was needed to know.

While here I sit wondering about you
in your plight of the unknown wondering
should I too intervene and give love
as unconditional as you my beloved friend
risked all for me, why am I so hesitant
to risk the who I am now for you?
